"The Magic Mustang is all dressed up and ready to party! She is a 2010 Ford Mustang totally encrusted with metal flake. After trying glitter a few years back, the Glitter Ritters discovered metal flake. The hood shows a horse trotting beneath blue skies and a group of magic mushrooms, while the sides sport glittery unicorns. New glittery upholstery is a major addition this year.
This year they also added glittery garlands over the rope lights and amped up the under glow. It has also inspired new glittery costumes because the Glitter Ritters love to play dress up!"
"We made our first art car in 2008 but it was claimed by the mermaids during Hurricane Ike. When we made that car, we had NEVER even been to the parade. Kim just wanted a daily driver. She was not overly excited about the first parade, having stayed up most of the night making costumes. But the first parade totally blew her mind! The parade is the favorite of both Ritters. They love the crowds and seeing all their friends in the Art Car Community! This car was inspired by Kim's love of horses and all things magical and mystical. She is the designer of the car, but her husband has chipped in with lots of help!
