Make way for the Peace Expedition, presented by the Glitter Ritters! What could be more important today than Peace? All around the world, people are crying out for it, from distance lands to our own backyards. The Peace Train is dedicated to delivering the message of Peace wherever she goes. We are reminded of the days when people stood up for their belief in Peace and demanded our leaders take action to limit conflict and political strife. Why must we go on hating? Go on a Peace Expedition!
We created the Peace Expedition when we moved to the Heights from Nassau Bay following Hurricane Ike. We were devastated by the storm and needed a new lease on life! The art car community was it!! Kim's first art car was destroyed by the storm and we were determined to build on the wonderful legacy she started. The Art Car folks and HACK are a true Houston treasure, and we were welcomed with open arms. What a great city and even greater peeps!!!
