---- This is my first time as an art car teacher, but the school has participated before. We took our inspiration from Mexican folk-art Alebrijes. Our color scheme is bold and fun. We want to inspire happiness and a curious/dream mindset. Whimsical and fun.
Most art pieces attached will be handmade paper mache pieces from the students. ---- I always wanted to create an art car and I was lucky enough to have one donated to me. I have very little funding and I’m still currently looking for assistance but I am faithful that we will have the car in the parade. This is my 13th year in education and 7th with Frank Black Middle School. I want my students and I to be a part of the Frank Black Art Car History.
