---- vwButtercup is a beetle with a lot of heart, and she's had multiple additions to her decor over the years. She first started off with just the flower and butterfly stickers all over the exterior. Next, her crown was made of nylon butterflies that were placed on flexible wires to appear as though in flight above the car, which can be attached to the car during parades via magnets. Her interior was then decorated with tie dye seat covers and multicolor plastic flowers to cover the dashboard, with multiple figurines scattered throughout such as rubber ducks and ladybugs. Finally, paint and glass beads were used to add further design to the outside and brighten up the colors on the flowers. She hopes that she can bring a smile to your face as she passes by, whether in the parade or around town.---- Since I was a young kid, I always dreamed of having a VW Beetle as I thought they were the coolest and cutest cars around. To get a bug as my first car was a dream and something that I am incredibly grateful for. I was inspired to decorate her as such after watching the Houston Art Car Parade a few years prior, and seeing how happy these decorated cars made people. The fact that I have made something that can bring some joy and wonder to people of all ages is truly an honor and something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Though I am unable to be at the parade in person as I now live in MS, I hope you can still feel the love and passion I have for art cars and this community. Thank you so much to everyone, but especially my mom for helping me out by being my wonderfully talented driver, dj, and supporting my dream for all these years. I hope to see all of you next year and happy art car!
