---- Artist Terry McDaniel painted her blue Honda fit into a pollinator garden. This garden is constantly growing and more and more pollinators come each year. Terry is a beekeeper and her Pollen Car is a great reminder to plant more native plants in your yard for your local pollinators. You may see her also wearing her bee skep full of about 20,000 honey bees. Feed the bees, plant more flowers!---- I came to the parade last year for the first time with a few friends and the Hippie Van. I loved seeing all the cars and meeting the artists. I especially enjoyed the Thursday cruise to different places and the ArtCar Ball. I get inspired by doing public art, gardening, beekeeping and from meeting other artists and traveling. I made my art car because I was originally riding in events here with the ArtCar and ArtBike crew here in Mpls as an ArtBiker. I am not a winter biker but loved hanging out in this group so I started turning my car into a temporary ArtCar and now I am a daily driver of my ArtCar. It’s still in progress, the winter's up here are not so conducive to painting outdoors. I love driving my Pollen Car especially in winter. It gives people joy and hope for a more colorful time is on its way here in MN. I’m looking forward to this year's festival.
