---- This is a 1991 Chevy Suburban that had the top chopped off, and a deck styled roof added. It has always been called the Tiki Sub, so we decided to lean into its nickname and create our first art car. We have added a grass skirt and leaf skirt top trim. We are creating palm trees and a large coconut styled bra for the front. The hood will also be adorned with a field of dashboard hula people. We hope to bring the breezy beachy vibe of Hawaii to the streets of Houston!---- We have been a long time supporters and fans of the Orange Show and the Art Car parade. My family has been talking about actually being in the parade for years. 2025 just happens to be the year it works out! We love all the wild themes, colors, creativity and inspiration that go into these wheeled works of wonder. We are really looking forward to be a part of the action this year, and not just a bystander marveling at the handiwork of others!
