---- Our band is called 8 Track and the painted car and music is an homage to some of the fabulous musicians who used 8 Tracks in the 1980s- Tom Petty, ZZ Top, Warren Zevon, and more. Five Houston band members squeeze on the roof of the car to play, along with the driver, as the car has been engineered to drive from the top instead of inside. Happy Art Car everyone - we hope you enjoy the music!---- This is our fourth art car after Hippysaurus, Hippytortoise and Phoenix Rising, and its dedicated to great music and great fun. The band has played together off and on for 8 years and is always up for new locations! We loved being a part of the 2023 Art Car Parade and are very happy to be rocking out here again in 2025.
