Painted-3rd-2023-Smiley Mobile---- My car is a work of art in itself as it it is a 1970 VW single cab pickup truck shortened to 11 feet with big wide drag racing tires on the back and a funny car look. I attach to it many pieces of art made from Bottle caps. It is not permenant on the car as it can be attached and detached. It becomes a whimsical interesting vehicle. I attach the old bottle caps(mostly plastic bottle caps) to plywood bases that have been painted before hand. My inspiration in part is to FURTHER, the bus that the merry Pranksters drove around the country.---- I am a retired Costume maker. I owned a wholesale costume company for 30 years and sold it in 2020. I came to the parade with my other art car Smiley in 2023 and had a blast. I did the Trinidad art car parade every year when it was going. I love a car that makes a statement.
