Cycle- (should have been contraption) 3rd 2017---- 2006 Honda Ruckus motor scooter, hand painted and decorated over a period of years. Several design themes are incorporated, to bring about a visual explosion of color in detail. This scooter has been in the Art Car Parade since 2008, and has driven 46 thousand miles!---- After attending the Art Car Parade for many years, I always thought it would be great to build an Art Car. In 2006, I bought a motor scooter to make commuting to work economical, and decorated it a little. I didn't think much of it, until someone suggested I enter it in the parade. ? So in 2008, I entered my scooter, and it was accepted! Then I started to work on it in earnest. Some years later, I was hit by a car, and after healing, I had to rebuild the scooter. I changed the motif and have been adding and refining it ever since. My favorite events are the Ball and the Illuminated Cruise!
