Description

Political statement- 2nd-2017, 2018/contraption 3rd-2014/ artcar-3rd 2013---- Toyotasaurus Wrecks continues my Science theme but also acknowledges my 'Favorite Things". My driver's side is enhanced by a multicolored toothy Mesosaur I have to have a Godzilla; he is on the back in 3D. Glass nazars (eyeballs) flow in waves to adorn the truck bed. A coelacanth and a T-rex cover the passenger side. As a dedication to my previous ArtCar, Karmageddon The front bumper is mosaiced. I have painted Her along the hood. The hood, back bumper & lighting will be completed in March.(i Hope) All my cars are Multimedia. It has been difficult to enhance my vehicles alone without my dear Billy Creating & Electrifying everything.---- Bill & Deb Elliott: We started out in the late 90's? with a basic 1968 Cadillac Hearse we bought for < $800. Bill had it running within Days. I painted it purple with Tiger striped interiors & sewed some Tiger seat covers. Another year Bill attached a trailer with drums of water topped with 'wiggle hoses" & a small motor. Our escort of friends brought water guns & dressed as clowns. But Art Car day was Really Cold & we were Not appreciated. The hearse continued to be embellished with trumpets & horns, a PA & antique police light bar and Huge tailfins; it was renamed the original 1-eyed 1-Horned Flying Purple People Eater. I drove it to work for a few years. It was eventually sold to Alex Harrah, repainted into the "CigsKill" & displayed in the Art Car museum for a while. WHY! did Bill & I make Art Cars: Art Car people are a Caring, Inclusive-to-Everyone Community!! Best part of Art Car Week is visiting school & seeing friends from Houston and from Out of Town...
