Painted car - 3rd - 2022---- The Phoenix arose form the ashes, being stored in Katy for 10 years. The Phoenix is a 1966 Checker Station Wagon with a flame theme. 3D flames are metal with color accents. Fire extinguishers are mounted on the rear side with checkered top. Under the hood is a smoke machine and siren. Recently installed automatic floor shifter and bucket seats.---- I have been involved with the Art Cars since 1991. My first Art Car was High Tide. It was a 1971 VW Bus with 1957 Chrysler Fins. Originally a Westfield Camper the top was cut-off to look like a pickup. .Body was pink with blue waves. Recently sold.
