With her single, large eye twinkling with curiosity, Penelope is always on the lookout for new friends and adventures, ready to spread joy wherever she goes! Designed by Artist Felizabeth Smiley---- After relocating to Texas, from Alaska, with my two children, I discovered a new passion that would change my life: found art. I now own JD Metals, a thriving scrapyard where I transform discarded materials into unique artistic creations. My journey into the world of Artcars was unexpected—I had no idea the car I decorated so I could spot it in a parking lot was an Artcar. The vibrant Artcar community found me and inspired my creativity. The highlight of Artcar week is witnessing the incredible artwork on wheels and connecting with fellow creators who share a love for this unique form of expression. Each Artcar tells a story, and being a part of this community has enriched my life and fueled my artistic spirit. Through my work, I aim to celebrate the beauty of transformation and the power of collaboration.
