Name/Title
1815/Vaughan: Mary Ann FossettDescription
These individual song & music sheets date from around 1785 to 1815, and have clearly been part of a serious collection; they have been bound up, indexed, and the book has been inscribed as No 3.
There is a whole collection of these Georgian songs at McMaster University in Canada, which has an online catalogue of them: https://library.mcmaster.ca/finding-aid/georgian
Mary Ann was the mother of Frances Hughes, who married John Lingard Vaughan, and she was thus the great-grandmother (on the Vaughan side) of Humphrey Vaughan Hughes and Kathleen Mack.
Here is another possible hereditary trait - a fascination and genius for music, which found its best flower in Humphrey (although also in Peter Hughes Mack).
