Dorothy Hughes married Horatio Day in 1908. Her only child Edward Francis, Teddy, was born in 1909.
These genealogy documents are in the Day family bible. The lefthand page refers to "our grandfather", John Donkin, who would have been the great-grandfather of Horatio Day, Dorothy's husband. Therefore the Day family was also taking an active interest in family genealogy from perhaps around 1850-70 (centre date of 1860 chosen), maybe even earlier than when Augustus Fossett Vaughan began his researches in 1866.
