1930/Chalmers: At the Tete ferryDescription
Poor quality copy of a photograph which has since apparently been lost. It shows RJ Mack at the Tete ferry, in Portuguese East Africa, on the way to the new business in Nyasaland, the Ntondwe Tobacco Company.
Although not all the car number plate can be seen, it begins with an "S" and appears to be the same vehicle which broke down and had to be transported back to Salisbury on a lorry.
The handwriting is Kathleen's.
