Print proof of original photograph, now missing. RJ (centre) with tobacco growers and tobacco samples. The photograph was printed in the 1941 "Tobacco" journal article about RJ and Andrew Chalmers at Little Kendals, and the caption given is: "Mr Mack (centre, topee in hand) in a busy native tobacco-leaf market in Nyasaland".
There is no date for the photograph but it seems to have taken place on or before 1936 (see text for article, which although printed in January 1941 was clearly written some time earlier in the previous year.
