Marion married in 1948 and Trixie around 1952, so Sylvia was the only Heskett daughter left at home after that time. This photograph suggests a happy family group now that the two older sisters had gone (Marion was strong-willed and demanding, and Trixie had irrepressible high spirits, a cutting tongue, and quarrelled with her father about everything.)
