Unused card which features a view of the Thames from the Savoy Hotel in 1957, from a painting by S.R. Badmin. The card was printed by the Medici Society and provided by the hotel to its guests.
The stunning view of the river (rendered with a lot of poetic licence here) was one of the main reasons why Andrew Chalmers, a shipping company, favoured the hotel.
