Name/Title
1960/Chalmers: Bill Barnard and othersDescription
Andrew Chalmers staff. Peter Mack's note on the back reads: "L-R. W E Barnard, Herbert Cripps, F J Chapman." Obviously there are four men in the picture, but in another place a truncated name appears, "E.Har".
The date given is circa 1960. It is possible that the photograph was taken at the Savoy Hotel, the Strand, London, which was a favourite Andrew Chalmers venue.
William Ernest Barnard, "Bill Barnard", was so trusted by RJ Mack that he had made him co-executor of his Will (RJ died in 1955, so this photograph is from five years afterwards).
