Named by Horner company for the biblical steward, Dorcas. This was one of the most popular thimbles ever sold associating it with biblical stewardship. This towel was a marketing token used to promote this “stewardship-minded” thimble. “Hundreds of thousands sold.” Thimbles were advertised to be made in 3 parts, “the outsides from sterling silver and inner from steel.” Size: 18 inches by 30 inches.
