This is an original satire card of humor about the church. An aristocratic man is walking along the sidewalk followed by a boy mocking his actions in his walking gait and dress. On the building wall along what is listed as “Paradise Alley”, in view is a large poster listing the following information:
“Stiggins Mission Lecture”. Lecture by Reverend H.U.M. Bugge. Lecture on “The Waste Of Money By The Poor. Come In Crowds. Silver collection to provide red Indians with warming pans and tooth brushes.” The image size is 4 ½ inches by 6 inches.
