This is the High Street Baptist Church in Roanoke, Virginia and the church mortgage was paid on the 41st anniversary of the church, September 20th, 1925. The photo is unique in that the congregation is an African American congregation. Additionally, the picture caption tells that the church has raised enough to also purchase a new automobile for their pastor!
