1887 – C CORN TITHE AND LAND RECEIPT FROM THE MUSGRAVE ESTATE This is another tithe receipt from the Musgrave estate. A number of mandatory collected tithes assessed to the Musgrave estate are shown in a variety of receipts in the Kingdom Generosity Collection. Stated “A Corn, Tithe on Land Receipt. Received from the trustees of the late Sir R. C. Musgrave, Bart by payment of Mr. Thomas Bowstead, the sum of 200 and 13 pounds, 15 shillings, and 2 pence. Being 1 year’s Edenhall corn tithe on their own lands and due January 1, 1887. Postmarked December 31, 1887. The image size is 4 ¼ inches by 7 inches. Manifest Record: unknownCollection
