“At the annual meeting of the church and congregation in Brattle-Street, on July 2, 1787. Voted, that a printed ticket be sent to all the pew-holders, requesting them to pay their pew-tax every week, (if convenient) but not to exceed a month. Pew number 46 To Mr. William Waine, to the Society on Brattle-Street Drive. July 5, 1788 to balance due this day you are requested to put the above balance into the box next Sabbath that a return may be made at the annual meeting in Boston, July 7, 1788.
