The ad text reads: “The Romans are tithed and the government grew rich at the people’s expense. The Mormons were tithed and the church has grown rich at the people’s expense. We should tithe ourselves and have the pleasure of growing rich at our own expense. Suppose we take a vow to set aside one-tenth of each week’s or each month’s income – then this bank will allow 3 percent interest on what you save!” The image size is 4 ½ inches by 7 inches.
