1895 – H EXPENSIVE PEW OWNERSHIP PURCHASE CONTRACT FROM
ARLINGTON STREET CHURCH OF BOSTON
This is an original church pew appraisal and receipt. The Arlington-street Church in Boston was a prominent building, which existed for a long period of time. Rhodes Lockwood paid a very high price for pew 58 for the time period: $2,500 in 1895. Quite unusual for the time period, this is an excessive amount for that era. This comes with a receipt from Mr. Lockwood. A paper of exceptional ephemera and quality of preservation.
Image size is 11 inches by 7 inches.
