This is a very fine print in a series of engravings by the Dutch Mennonite art mystic Jan Luyken and his son Caspar Luyken. The Biblical passage is in Latin and German and print on hand-maid paper. The subject is taken from Genesis 14: “and Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine; and he was priest of God the Most High.” The image size is 7.5 inches by 9.5 inches.
