This is an original print of a newspaper or journal comic of the day. “Titled Fatal Generosity”, The picture is of a meeting in a church Committee Room, with a dividing curtain. On the left side, a very emotional pleading pastor and his family stands together, in a stance of prayer, hoping for a much needed benevolence decision from a group of deciding men on the right hand side of the curtain. A picture on the wall cites “The Lord loves a cheerful giver.” Centered below is an italicized capture of the conversation of the deciding committee:
