This is a series of tithe campaign posters designed by Peanuts (Charley Brown) artist Charles Schulz. Without using “Peanuts” characters per se, Schulz artistic similarities are evident in the child characters he used to portray in his cartoon work advocating tithing.
This 17 poster series featured characters Schulz envisioned compared to his previous “Lil Folks” series, and drawn by Roger Pamquist, a Schultz drawing student. The series was divided into themes:
• Stewardship Is. . . (10 posters listed)
• A Good Steward. . . (6 posters listed)
• Giving . . . (1 one 1970 poster listed)
• Miscellaneous (1 poster: Giving – That’s Stewardship)
• Tracts: 15 small 2 inch by 5 inch tracts on topics (25 of each in KGC holdings)
• Bulletin front covers (5 bulletin covers; 40 of each in KGC holdings)
• 1 One Activity Book: “Stewardship Can Be Fun…” (4 in KGC holdings)
• Puzzle: 4 pieces (small) with an “offering envelope-size” envelope container.Collection
