Silver cake server with sculpted decoration on tapering handle in Gorham's Chantilly design (the most popular sterling flateware design ever produced). Serving end tip is rounded, serving wedge is rounded as well; handle tapers from the end of the serving wedge and has sculpted decoration. Chantilly's distinctive scroll design and fleur-de-lis accents were inspired by the Rococo style of early 18th century France.
