Brown leather bound carte de viste album collected by grand-daughter of Philip Richard Fendall. Side is decorated with gold gilt, with the word "Photographs" midway down. On the bottom third of side says "Flexable Chain-Back. Pat'd Oct 17 1865". Front and rear of cover has same brown leather with gold gilt. Album is held closed by two brass clasps. Pages have gold edges all the way around. Approximately 55 pages in length. Interior pages are thick with cutouts for two photos back-to-back in each.
