Part of a set of two comprised of one silver serving spoon & one sauce ladle of same pattern. Spoon monogrammed "EPL" on handle, which stands for Evelina Prosser Lee. Patent 1852 T & L. Hallmarks appear to be an eagle, a thistle and a harp. Spoon has scallop shell molded bowl and medallion handles with beading around edge of handle.
