Black beaded decoration, oval with pointed ends, middle is open. A vertical bar runs along he back of the piece with a short "T" bar coming from the center. This piece has a broken edge, indicating that there was perhaps a backing or a second piece to this item that would connect to something or allow the item to be clasped to something. May have been a buckle for a shoe or purse, a closure for a jacket or cape, or perhaps a hair decoration.
