Single sheet of paper folding in half to create a 3 1/2 page letter and then is trifolded to create an envelope. Text was written in pen and ink. The letter was written to Phillip Fendall, Jr. by Cruss (?), and concerns several legal matters and PRF's upcoming marriage. Is addressed "For Philip R. Fendall, Esquire Attorney at Law Alexandria, D.C." Also on the envelope front is a postage stamp in orange-red ink that says "Baltimore Jun 1." Just above the address line is a large letter that appears to be a "P." On the back of the envelope, a notation in ink reads "[P. H. Cruss] June 1, 1824."Dimensions
