Glass mousetrap with single entrance. Reads "Mouse exterminator. MFG and sold by N. J. Wigginton. Winchester, VA. PAT. July 30, 1918." Missing a wire stand that would have held it in place horizontally on the ground. The dip made it so a mouse would be unable to turn around and escape once it had climbed over. Unclear how a person would clean the trap/remove mouse once captured.
