Description

Ivory colored dresser set consisting of brush, comb, mirror, button (or corset) hook and nail implements. Nail implements unidentified and unmarked. Brush says "Ivory Pyralin DuBary." Pyralin was the trade name of of celluloid produced by Arlington Co. In 1917, the DuPont Company bought Arlington Co. Pyralin was a type of plastic made between 1900 and WWI. Sets would have sold for $20-65 depending on design. Pyralin is highly flammable.
