Part of a set of two comprised of one silver serving spoon & one sauce ladle of same pattern. Spoon monogrammed "EPL" on handle, which stands for Evelina Prosser Lee. Ladle carries no monogram. Patent 1852 T & L. Hallmarks appear to be an Eagle, a thistle and a harp. Ladle has beading around edge of handle.
