Description

Royal blue shirtwaist dress with band neckline and font yoke. The dress has a single tier ruffle skirt, fabric covered buttons, and a tie belt. The yoke and sleeves are constructed of a geometric lace fabric that is the same color as the dress. As technology continues to influence the fashion industry through new developments, channels for retailing, individuals as fashion promoters, and the speed of communication, identifying a predominant fashion style has disappeared. When the Covid-19 pandemic forced everyone to social distancing, everyone went online connecting digitally. The 2020’s silhouettes can be seen as “anything goes.” As more and more styles are becoming mainstream fashion the idea of having to have the brand new look that everyone else is wearing is a thing of the past. Rather being true to oneself, your comfort and identity, is valued and microniches were expanded. Maximalism has made a strong comeback. Bold patterns, bright colors, and exaggerated silhouettes are everywhere. Maximalism has made a strong comeback. Bold patterns, bright colors, and exaggerated silhouettes are everywhere.
