Photograph of Waxahachie, Texas contractor C. J. Griggs' house.

Context

The Griggs house in Waxahachie, 1891. There are no trees in front so I assume this was shortly after the house was completed. I don't know if this house still stands but I'd like to know. Mr. Griggs was a house builder and at least a couple of the houses that he built are still standing.
