1600s Spanish Florida Spanish or French Acorn Style Doublet Button - Large (103)Description
A nice example in a very small size (likely for female clothing). Solid cast. This was found in Baldwin, Florida (near Jacksonville, I think) by a former colleague who was actively digging the early settlement sites in the mid 1980s. This could be either Spanish or French (acorn-style designs were popular from the 1500s to 1650).
