This example was recovered from a Florida beach in the mid-1980s by a colleague, and so it exhibits some salt water corrosion This particular type has been recovered directly from Spanish wrecks of the 1733 fleet, he has no doubt this example washed ashore from one of those wrecks. It measures 14.91mm.
