Black & white photograph by the Rust Photographic Studio of Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo. It shows the arches of the mission with two women in front, (they are identified on back). On back the image is identified only by a hand written notation that says: "Old Mission San Antonio", and then it has the women's names. It measures about 8" x 10", and is printed on woven cloth paper".Context
Known as the "Queen of the Missions", this is the largest of the missions, and this stereoview was taken before it was almost fully restored to its original design by the WPA (Works Projects Administration) in the 1930s.Category
