A belt buckle engraved with an "A" in the center of a five-pointed star. Engraved above the star is "TEXAS" and below the star is "ARMY." Hand fabricated and made of copper.
Context
Texas' Lone Star identity was formed during the Texas Revolution. This belt buckle was made to be worn by a Texas Army soldier, and believed to have been handmade in Quintana, Texas of scrap copper pieces used to sheath the Texas Navy ships.
