Original manuscripts, typed copies and edits to Thomas A. Edison speech at the Golden Jubilee celebration of Edisons Electric Light 10-21-29. Archive consists of 3 versions of the speech, with #3 being the final selected manuscript to be read to the tenders of the opening ceremonies of The Edison institute on Edison's electric light golden jubilee on 10-21-1029. The manuscripts are in the hand of T A Edison’s son Charles. It is unknown if Charles fully wrote the three speech drafts without T A Edison’s input or if this was a collaborative effort with Charles handling the writing responsibility.
