An incandescent lamp constructed with a stem/press line containing powdered silver, which transitions to an iron-like wire at the press. The intent of this design was to avoid infringing on the Edison patents, patents which covered the use of platinum wire entering the lamp's envelope. The use of powdered silver traces and iron wire was an attempt at avoiding patent infringement.Made/Created
