Incandescent lamp as manufactured by the Shelby Electric Co., under the name of Improved Thomas A. Edison Jr. lamp. This was a short-lived product (though unlikely any different than any other production lamp by Shelby of the era), as a partnership with Thomas A. Edison Jr., Thomas A. Edison's son, in partnership with Shelby Electric Co. This example is fitted with a Westinghouse type base.
