Description

Cloth print with image of soldiers in prayer. Floral border with Star of David at top. Top in Hebrew: "We all have one father, one God who created us." Bottom: "Yom Kippur Services, 1871, in the camp overlooking Metz." The pictured scene never actually occurred, but was invented to foster patriotism among German Jews.
