A pair of lavish head decorations – golden amulets – Tunisia pair of teklila (head decorations), everlasting amulets, intended to be hung on the sides of the head, near the temple. Gabes, Tunisia, [first half of the 20th century].soldered, cast and engraved silver; silver and granulation; Glass.Extra long head decorations. Each of the decorations consists of an oval hoop soldered to a semicircle-shaped plate. The plaque, with wavy edges, is decorated with silver thread and granulation in geometric patterns and red glass stone. From the bottom of the plate dangle five chains of round vertebrae and flatness (of the Rihanna type), with drilled pendants at the ends: two round with crescent decorations, two Hamsa-shaped, and one with star and crescent decoration. To the top of the hoop is attached another chain, at the end of which a hook is attached to hang on the head covering.Made/Created
