Description

Four round plates connected by upright columns on legs. On the upper plate is a printed silk cloth (Solomon printing, Jerusalem) bearing verses and decorations on the theme of Passover and the holy places. Around the bowls is a cloth, which covers the edges of the upper cloth and the plates, and ends with a decorative ribbon made of gold metal threads. This special bowl was given as a gift to a donor including the "Guardians of the Walls" in Jerusalem (Colel Shomre Hachmomoth). Source: Willy Lindwer collection
