Description

Targhee Title Company. On the reverse side of the page is a newspaper clipping showing a before cleanup picture also modified by drawings & staff pictures. The note, written on a letter with Targhee Title Co. letterhead reads: Hours after the flood waters subsided Dexter Ball, Manager, made it here from Idaho Falls and began the long tiring job of clean up. Everything was taken out by shovels and hosed down. A dead pig was one of the many items removed. Marilyn Fife and Pam Summers, employees, came in in hip waders and with shovels helped scoop out "Meyers Brothers Feed Lot". Our boss, Dwain Stufflebeam, called his son who was on his honeymoon and he and his new bride were here within a few days to help restore and recover old precious records. New doors, windows, and a complete new interior was replaced, with plans for landscaping to begin as soon as weather permits. Business continued throughout the long restoration period and we appreciate the patience and cooperation we received from our customers.
